About the SRNSF...

The group first met in May 2001 and consisted of Respiratory Nurse Specialists working in secondary care. We have now extended our membership to include Respiratory Nurse Specialists in the primary care setting.

The aim of the group is to share and promote the best practise in evidence based Respiratory Nursing, and networking is an integral part of this process.

The SRNSF has a constitution, mission and vision statement. The steering group consists of a Respiratory Nurse Specialist from each Health Authority in NHS Scotland, with the exception of Orkney and the Western Isles. We are seeking to recruit steering group members from these regions.
