Have you been developing a new service, carrying out research,
undertaken an educational course, written a protocol or care pathway or
audited activity that you feel will be of interest to colleagues from
across Scotland?
If so, consider submitting your work for
the opportunity to present at the next Scottish Respiratory Nurse Forum
Conference. This will be the fourth year
that the Martin Shield will be awarded for contributions to enhance the
role of Respiratory Nurses both within Primary and Secondary Care.
In addition to the Martin Shield, there
will be a single prize of £100.00 worth of book tokens. Four abstracts
will be chosen for a ten minute presentation. Abstracts of no more than
250 words should be submitted to Olwyn Lamont at
olwyn.lamont@nhs.net no
later than 24th September 2010
Successful abstract submissions will be
notified before the Conference. If successful you will be invited to
present your abstract at the 2010 conference (12th & 13th November).
Please note, at the conference this year:
Do you have a poster that you have
presented in the last year regarding any service improvements/delivery
in your area of practice.
Do you wish to display a poster of any
current work, audit, research, service improvement that you are working
on?
If so then submit the title of your
Poster to Olwyn Lamont at
olwyn.lamont@nhs.net no later than 11th September 2010.
A prize will be awarded for the best
Poster display judged by the steering group at the SRNSF conference
2010.
The steering group look forward to seeing
you abstracts and posters at the conference.
